The terms, in plain words
- Variable rate — the supply rate moves with the market and changes month to month.
- Your default utility supply rate is always available to you, and you can return to it.
- Your Nicor Gas delivery charges and service are unchanged.
Estimate only. Assumes the gas supply charge is about 33% of your total bill — your share depends on your usage and the Nicor Gas delivery rates in effect. The rebate is 15% of your gas supply charge, excluding taxes, delivery and fixed fees. It is paid 1 to 4 times a year, once your accrued rebate passes $100 or after twelve months, whichever comes first. This is not a quote or an offer of a fixed price.

One line on your bill. Nothing else.
- 01Your right
You choose
Saskatchewan, Ohio and Illinois all let you pick who supplies your gas. Most households have no idea the choice exists.
- 02What changes
Future Now Energy
We buy the gas and deliver it into your utility’s system in your name. The supply line on your bill is the only thing that changes.
- 03Unchanged
Your utility
Still owns the pipes, still delivers, still reads your meter, still sends you one bill, still answers emergencies.
- 04The rebate
15% comes back
A rebate of 15% of your gas supply charge, accruing every month and paid out by cheque.
Not sure yet? Run your bill through the estimator — it takes one drag of a slider and asks nothing of you.
